An Anonymous writer says:
In my opinion and others that have fallen for this pyramid scheme, which they don't deny, would call it a scam.
They compare it to being a wonderful reverse EBay auction phenomena when in fact, even though it slipped through the committee that deems whether or not it is gambling or not, all you have to do is go on and see for yourself that it is gambling.
I had a friend that knew a lot of people, a few of them, were real go getters, signed up and earned her several hundred dollars right off, so she was really sold and made it out to be a really big deal but the last time I talked to her, she was apologizing to me all over the place for getting me involved as she has not made anything since that time or to my knowledge. However, in the mean time, my husband without me knowing it, spent the last $800 of my inheritance to join the gold spot.
With it you get approx. $1400 points to use to play the game.
He promptly used it all up trying to show a friend how it worked not winning anything but a $100 game boy.
What did we get for our $800? A game boy and worth $100 and that's it.
The rest of the points got thrown away in trying to win the reverse auctions in which we got nothing. In order to get more points, you have to pay in $20 a month.
This is a real attraction for Gamblers for which I'm not.
My husband has an attraction to gambling, so that he used my money to buy into ZapaDeal.
As for my girlfriend? Her luck ended as of the last time I talked to her.
But she did put the pressure on me with guilt trips saying I was trying to hard and that I shouldn't say anything or try to explain what ZapaDeal is about but rather get them to the call. This is a webinar they have every so often, if things go right and if you want to be a part of it, you can email them and you will be included in the conversation.
It's their online meetings where they try to convince you to join. You can listen and they will answer all your questions.
All of the websites are from already members looking for new members to suck in.
Don't be fooled or tricked. You will be throwing your money away and you don't get anything for it.
I don't care if it has been deemed not a gambling game or not, it is!
I liken it to the claw game you see in stores where you pay for the claw to pick up a toy only you have a better chance with the claw. This is a very expensive claw.
DON'T DO IT!
There are several different auctions you can do or wait for, and when I say wait, I mean wait.
They have several items that start off at the retail price and go down to 0 from there.
Do you know how long it takes a SUV to go from retail to 0?
I'm still waiting.
This means people have to throw away points and money just to check to see where it's at, therefore throwing away your money just to be able to see if has gone down any or see if it's worth bidding on.
This is a scam!
What makes me feel bad is even though we never pressured anyone, my daughter signed up for the silver $400.
She spent the whole $400 to win a $135 espresso maker.
That makes me sick.
Do not fall for it.
I have to keep the names involved private to protect the innocent.
But I just encourage anyone that is interested to give it a second thought.
It's nothing but a gamble. An expensive pyramid gamble that originated in Australia and is trying to make it here in the US.
Please heed my warning.
It has cost us dearly and anyone will see that it is nothing but gambling from home not an auction.
Anything that they are auctioning is not really worth anything. The big items are going to cost you dearly.
Just go buy what you want. It will be cheaper.
