It’s almost a sure thing that if you order anything that is BUY ONE GET ONE FREE off the TV or from an ad off the internet, you are asking for problems from the get go.

The main problem is that most of them only take a credit card, no checks, giving them free riegn to your money.

This should be your first clue as to the can of worms you are opening.

Second, when you call to cancel! "Sure you can." But will keep sending you unwanted product and charging your card like it’s free money.

They don’t care if they send you into overdraft or if you get penalized or not.

They just want to get as much money as they can and hang on to it for as long as they can because your money times all the other money they are illegally collecting ads up to a lot in their bank in interest!

So they are in no hurry to straighten things out as you can see below.

 Do you get those ads to lose weight that they name someone from your town?

Even if there are only 50 people that live in your tiny town and you know them all!

This is called Spam and usually pertains to diet aids, tea, drinks, vitamins and the like.

It doesn’t take an idiot to figure out that these people don’t exsist or live in your town.

But what must they think of us if they think we are going to fall for this?

They think we’re Idiots! And they are out for our money!

They think we’re stupid and will buy their bogus product just because your town is named in the article, such as this ad.

Then when you click on the ad it doesn’t mention this lady. It mentions some lady in Santa Clara, CA. That's because the ad uses your IP address to get a local city to mention.

I’m not saying that everything out there is a hoax, but I am saying that most of them are, and to check them out thoroughly before you give anyone your credit card number number because where the real spam comes in, is when you call to cancel your order, they say sure thing, but they don’t stop.

They continue to charge your credit card until you finally have to file a dispute.

What ever you do, don’t close your credit card and get a new one which is what your bank will recommend because then this spam company will have no way to return your money to you other than sending you a check and we all know that’s going to happen.

Tell them they are not authorized to make anymore charges from your account and if necessary have your bank put a block on this company from withdrawing any more money. There is a fee for this if this is what you decide to do.

You can’t reason with them.

If they keep sending you product after you have canceled and have asked for a refund, if you cancel by their designated time, by law, you don’t have to return the product you didn’t order or pay for it.

However the company will try to hold it over your head and say they will not refund your money until you return it. They can’t do this if you didn’t order it.

Be sure to let your bank know that this company is continuing to send you product you didn’t order, continuing to charge your card and are refusing to give you your money back until you send the product back at your expense.

The Bank can still file the dispute between their bank and yours whether you return it or not and will win if you’ve done everything correct on your part. Just be patient.

But remember you only have 120 days to file the dispute. Some banks may be less.

I lost out a couple of times because I waited too long.

If you do decide to return the product you didn’t order, do not pay for it yourself.

You demand a prepaid label to return it with but don’t let this be a part of whether or not you get your money back. This is just a decision you make on your own.

Personally I wouldn’t waste my time or give them the satisfaction.

Let your bank handle the money part for you and after you get all your money back then close that card and have them issue you a new one.
